Medieval pilgrims ampulla. Circa 15th century CE. Lead-alloy, 52.68g. 47mm. Pouch-shaped with suspension rings at the base of the neck (one missing). Decorated on one side with a chevron within a circular panel and a Scallop design on the other. Ref: Mitchiner, p.138-152.
